Company at the earliest possible moment after the start.

PHOTOGRAPHIC SECTICH.

It will be noted that $3,000.00 has been allowed

for a Photographic Section, the reason for this being that Aerial

Photography is a very important business, and will bring a

considerable amount of work to the Company.

Quite apart from the business of photographing

factories, business houses, building sites etc.: there should be

a very large business throughout the East for pictorial views,

and a certain amount of press work should also be done.

GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE.

In view of the importance of the Air Routes to

local trade and the general benefit that will be derived by the places served, it is only fair that the Governments concerned

should grant a SUBSIDY for a period of four or five years,

and so

as not to hamper the work of the Company this subsidy should be

on a generous scale.

In return for this subsidy Mails would be carried

on all regular services, and on any special journeys made.

After the period of five years, or at an earlier

date if it were found that the services were expanding more

rapidly that had been hoped, actual Mail Contracts should be

granted to the Company.

In addition to this subsidy the Goverments

concerned should grant, FREE ACCOMODATION, or at a nominal rent,

FREE METEOROLOGICAL and WIRELESS SERVICES, that should cover the

arrival and departure of machines.

During the first five years when the Company will be working under difficulties the Goverments should protect the Company by a MONOPOLY, in so far that no Goverment work will be given to any other Company, and the use of the Air Parts by machines belonging to other Companies should be charged for.
